About The Artist

Azesha grew up in a home full of arts and crafts. She watched her mother sew, knit, paint and draw. This early exposure to creativity had a profound effect on her. Cosmetics seemed just like other art supplies but used for expression on the face instead of paper or canvas. Naturally she would develop a love for the magical medium of makeup early on.

Azesha received a certificate in Professional Makeup Artistry from Face Stockholm Makeup Academy which at one time offered training at locations in Sweden, Norway and the USA. Prior to attending makeup school Azesha received a B.A. from Hampshire College with a concentration in Photography and Film Studies.

She believes one has the power to evoke a mood or create a statement with makeup although sometimes a little concealer seems like enough.

She still enjoys crafting, especially knitting with Malabrigo hand dyed yarns. And if it’s early spring she’s starting vegetable, fruit and flower seeds for the garden.
